EXAMINATION

As the industry leader, the TOEIC program has set the standard for assessing English-language skills needed in the workplace for more than 40 years. The TOEIC tests are the most widely used around the world, with 14,000+ organizations across more than 160 countries trusting TOEIC scores to make decisions. Use the TOEIC as evidence of your proficiency in English and to optimise your recruitment profile!

TOEIC exams come in 4 different versions to best meet your needs:

1. The TOEIC Listening & Reading is a paper-based test which assesses your English listening and reading comprehension. The test consists of 200 multiple-choice questions and has a duration of approximately 2.5 hours. This is the most commonly booked TOEIC exam.
    
2. The TOEIC Speaking & Writing is a computer-based test which assesses your English speaking and writing competency. The test consists of approximately 20 tasks and has a duration of circa 1.5 hours.
    
3. The TOEIC 4Skills is a combination of the TOEIC L&R and the TOEIC S&W which takes place over the course of a single day and has a duration of approximately 5 hours (including a pause of approximately 1 hour).
    
4. The TOEIC Bridge is a paper-based test designed for beginning to lower-intermediate English learners. The test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions and has a duration of approximately 1.5 hours.

The questions in the TOEIC exams are based on situations taken from real professional life in an international environment. Situations such as conferences, business trips, telephone calls, and so on (does not apply to the TOEIC Bridge).

RESULTS

• The TOEIC Exams certify levels A1-C1 on the CEFR scale (A1-B1 for TOEIC Bridge).
• Each TOEIC exam comes with a Score Report and Interpretation Table included in the test fee. A decorative certificate suitable for framing can be purchased for an additional €25.    
   

Examination location
inlingua Sprachschule, Munich. The TOEIC examinations are held on the school premises as we are an authorised examination centre.

Registration for examination

• TOEIC L&R exams take place on the first Friday of every month at 13:00. Individual dates are also available by appointment. Please register at least 10 business days before the desired exam date.
• TOEIC S&W and TOEIC 4Skills exams are bookable on the first and third Wednesday of every month by appointment. Please register at least 20 business days before the desired exam date.

PREPARATORY COURSES

Prerequisites
Good to very good skills in everyday language. You will be asked to complete a short assessment test before registering for a preparation course.
 

Programme
20 45-minute lessons in a course with three to five participants, 14 lessons with two participants.
 

Duration
Approximately one month.

PREPARATORY COURSES
