About us

The inlingua School of Languages in Munich was founded by the Dammann family in 1897 and has been run as a family enterprise ever since.  Even then, the school had a good reputation in Munich, not only thanks to the native-speaking teachers. Members of the Bavarian royal house studied languages such as Hungarian here.  In 1983, the school was taken over from the Umlaufs by the Bernau family - Uwe and Christel and their daughter Ute, with another daughter, Claudia, as a silent partner.
"Every customer is king" is the motto according to which we offer services in the field of language acquisition. Why? Because nowadays, acquiring foreign languages is without a doubt more important than ever. In addition to English and German as a foreign language, we provide tuition in all the world's living languages. Many of the language courses at inlingua Munich lead to European language diplomas.  Before customers begin their language training, they are comprehensively advised by inlingua's specialists.
